Hello! Thanks for visiting.
I’m Lauren Schneiderman (she/her) and I’m a filmmaker and photographer based in Philadelphia. I currently work as a Cinematographer, Video Journalist, Editor and DP at the Philadelphia Inquirer. Visual journalism allows me to connect with my community and find meaning in the human experience.
I’m also an adjunct professor at Temple University’s Klein College of Media and Communication, where I teach Multimedia Studies.
I have a MA in New Media Photojournalism from the Corcoran College of Art + Design, a BA in Women's Studies and International Relations from Goucher College, and a certificate in Documentary Studies from the SALT institute in Portland, Maine.
